Spanish Palate

The Toro appellation is in Castilla y León in northwestern Spain. The region’s major red grape is Tinta de Toro (also know as Tempranillo). The wines are fashioned in a powerful, grippy style requiring a little time in bottle to soften. The 8 Rosas Negras cuvée has heady dark fruit and spice flavours developing a savoury note on the finish. Overall, a fresh, full-bodied, concentrated red with firm tannins. 2024-2029.–JB
