Chioccioli Altadonna Family Estate

The Altadonna Chianti Classico is sourced from the same high-premium vineyard areas as the Altadonna Riserva cuvée. However, it is matured for a shorter period in barrel: just one year as opposed to the Riserva’s 18 months of ageing. This gives it a more youthful, fruit-forward appeal. The nose is very aromatic with its baked dark fruit, balsamic, and earthy notes. Initially, the palate is broad and fleshy but finishes firm with bracing acidity and muscular tannins.
