Inspired by his 15 years in Burgundy including four years in a Meursault cellar, winemaker Floris Lemstra demonstrates the outstanding potential for white wines in the Languedoc with his Alternative Chardonnay. This is an intriguing wine offering a bouquet of red apple, grilled pear, mineral and saline aromas. The apple and pear notes continue on the palate where they are complemented by flavours of lime, roasted nuts and toast. A high-scoring wine with extra marks for length and intensity. A wine for white Burgundy lovers to consider. 2023-2028–LW
