With fewer than 150 cases produced, we are thrilled to be able to offer the celebration-worthy 2019 Amassa to Opimian Members. This single vineyard wine was carefully crafted from 100% Grenache grown in clay and red marl 400 metres above sea level. In the winery, natural yeast fermentation took place before one year of aging in barrel and amphora. In the glass, a deep ruby-purple hue foreshadows the luscious dark fruit that weaves from the nose through the core to the lengthy finish. The bouquet is perfumed with the scent of plum, blackcurrant, anise, olive, black earth and clove. The palate opens with pure blackcurrant and blackberry flavours that culminate in a refined finish of mineral and oak. This exceptional wine will evolve and mature for another ten years or more. 2023-2033+–LW
