Sweet ripe fruits, strawberries, red cherries, wood with a touch of rose petal create a mellow and intense bouquet. This is a smooth wine with good mid-palate fruit. It is medium-bodied with red and bitter cherry flavours which persist in the mouth. Produced from a blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Corvinone. After an initial fermentation, the wine was fermented again on Amarone skins for five days creating Ripasso.
