Brick ruby in colour with aromas of truffles, smoke, prunes and raisins. It is light on the palate with flavours of Christmas cake and bitter liquorice, a marked sour acidity giving a firm astringent finish. Produced by the Aresca family from Nebbiolo grapes grown around the town of Alba. Ready for drinking, it will hold for several years but not improve.
