Ready for earlier drinking, Baby Blue has the hallmark of Blue Rock estate – namely elegance. This is a light to medium bodied wine which is hugely moreish with aromas of dark berry fruits, blackcurrant and mulberries with some leafy notes. On the palate, flavours of cooked forest fruits and pure vanilla are enhanced by a slightly firm structure on the finish, adding length. Baby Blue is a blend of the five varieties that are grown on the estate: 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Syrah, 6% Malbec and 4% Cabernet Franc.
