Badabadoc DOQ Priorat, 2019

Earthy forest fruit and raspberry aromas are quite restrained and lead to a soft, smooth palate. This is a medium-bodied wine with sweet, ripe fruit flavours and supple tannins. It has great balance and depth with licorice and bitter fruits on the finish and none of the overblown hot raisin character that can so easily be found in many Priorat wines. It was produced from a blend of 60% Cariñena, 20% Garnacha and 20% Garnacha Peluda grown on the famous llicorella soils at Bellmunt del Priorat in the south of the region.
