A medium- to full-bodied wine with ginger spices and orange-peel aromas. It is mouth-filling with smoky fruit flavours, youthful with dark chocolate and a vanilla finish; it will continue to develop. The vineyard in Gundagai is situated on hills at 350 metres overlooking Jugiong village and the Murrumbidgee River. It was matured for 10 months in French oak barrels.
