Medium ruby hue. A gorgeously ripe, hedonistic take on a classic Bordeaux blend. There are layers of red and black fruits on the nose and palate, some generous spice, a hint of pencil lead and a twang of something a bit herbaceous to give lift. The tannins, a real high point, are velvety and fine but still exert satisfying grip on the mid-palate. 2026-2030 – NH
