Spanish Palate

As one of the driest regions in Spain, Jumilla a prime area for growing Monastrell. The bouquet of the 2021 Botas de Barro Monastrell reveals notes of plum, oak spice, leather, cured meat and herb. The palate is more fruit focused with an appealing profile of plum, blackberry, currant, black raspberry and oak spice. With a solid tannin structure, this is a good alternative for Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah. 2023–2026–LW
