Pinot Noir grown at Santa Maria has produced a wine quite pale in colour but with lots of flavour. On the nose it has red fruit and strawberry aromas which lead to a soft light impression on the palate initially. It is smooth and medium bodied with red cherry and hard candy flavours followed by a savoury bitter finish and just tiny hint of oak. It is well balanced with a lingering finish and is ready for drinking.
