Given this blind, you would be forgiven for thinking that this is Barolo. The nose shows a complex array of red and black fruit, including tinned strawberry, red currant, raspberry, black cherry, and plum overlaid with liquorice, rose, incense and pencil lead. The finish is worthy of a wine three times the price with layers of flavour driven by the fruit and equally the fine acidity and firm tannins. What a superb glass of wine! 2025-2030. MP
