Casa de Outeiro Godello DO Ribeira Sacra Gama Origen
Indigenous to the banks of the River Sil, Godello is an old variety mentioned in texts in the 16th century. Pale straw in colour, it has subtle aromas of fresh white fruits and citrus. It is round and smooth on the palate with fresh apple flavours and a tangy finish.
Casa de Outeiro Treixadura DO Ribeira Sacra Gama Origen
This grape variety is usually found as part of a blend with other indigenous grapes. This wine has floral, earthy and smoky notes, and is quite broad in structure, with citrus characters, finishing with a sweet-and-sour impression. I tasted it as a very young tank sample dispatched by Mauricio at the end of harvest on his way back to Argentina, and I am looking forward to re-tasting the finished wine.
