From ungrafted, prephylloxera French stock vines. This wine spent 10-12 months in small barriques. A deep ruby, opaque hue in the glass. A little quiet on the nose, showing dried black olive, a creamy character and a hint of cold smoke/tar. The palate opens with a medium acidity, is dry and has a medium extract, medium-plus fine-textured tannins and a medium-plus body. It shows a nice length and flavours of plum, olive, tar/smoke and dark chocolate, and a medium-plus finish. 2024-2026–IR
