From ungrafted selected clones of pre-phylloxera French rootstocks. Medium ruby hue. Stewed damson, umami and tobacco saturate the nose, leading to a velvety palate of ripe blackberry, cocoa powder and capsicum. This is textbook Carménère displaying a rich fruit core supported by engagingly soft tannins and subtle acidity. The finish is warm and chocolatey. 2025-2026 – MP
