A rustic wine with aromas of sweet dark fruits, prunes and pipe tobacco. It is medium bodied with mid palate weight to support some astringency on the finish. Carmenère grapes were hand-picked on May 1st and underwent a cold maceration for 12 hours prior to fermentation.
