Cecile Lebrun Sancerre Blanc AOC Sancerre
Sancerre lies at the eastern edge of the Loire Valley wine region with three main soil types: chalk, limestone-gravel and flint (known as silex). Mineral and slate aromas are complemented by gooseberries, fresh lime and floral lanolin notes in this 2020. It is supple on the palate with nice weight and depth. Sancerre is also known for its high-quality goat cheeses which are an excellent match with the wine.

Cecile Lebrun Pouilly-Fume AOP Pouilly-Fume
The little town of Pouilly-sur-Loire lies on the opposite side of the river to Sancerre and produces similar wines. Fumé refers to the local name for Sauvignon, after its sometimes flinty or smoky character. The 2020 Lebrun Pouilly-Fumé has a pungent grassy aroma with more fruit showing through on the palate. It is smooth in texture and quite broad in structure with gooseberry, fresh apple and lime flavours.
