Jérôme’s 2018 Chassagne Montrachet is intensely perfumed with red and black cherry fruit aromas complemented by floral notes of peonies and roses. It is medium bodied and supple with a firm acidity, fine powdery texture and long sour cherry finish. The 0.2 hectares of 60-year-old vines are planted to the south of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet in the Lieu-Dit Les Morichots. The wine was matured in oak from the Vosges forest in the north east of France.
