AOP Pécharmant

Château Beauportail, AOP Pécharmant

Lot

5493

Grape Variety

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec

Medium ruby hue. Opens with an exotic nose of cassis, black cherry, undergrowth, white pepper and nutmeg. The palate also makes a splash with healthy dollops of ripe black fruit, kirsch, dark chocolate, nutmeg and clove. This storms the senses but is nevertheless particularly well-balanced, showcasing well-integrated (if powerful) tannins and plenty of drive. Somewhat predictably, the finish is admirably long. 2026-2028–MP
