Medium garnet hue. Pronounced, complex and wonderful nose showing both secondary and tertiary notes of black cherry, cassis, plum, fig, tobacco and forest floor. The fruit in these wines always seems to take the alcohol in its stride, creating a vast, aromatic, powerful, and structured red that is equally at home on the dining table or on the patio. Flavours include dark chocolate, cinnamon, clove, vanilla, cooked plum and black cherry. The tannins are fully resolved and well integrated with the acidity, driving a long finish.
