In Bordeaux, the Sauvignon Blanc grape can be made in a light, crisp, unoaked manner and also in a richer, more concentrated, oak-aged style. This second type of white Bordeaux is meant for the table with its full body, its creamy texture and lingering toasty, vanilla oak nuances.
