Les Grandes Serres

Deep purple hue. On the nose, red fruit preserves, pencil shavings, chalk, fresh dough and lees. It is dry, has a low, but adequate acidity, medium extract, medium fine-textured tannins and medium body. It is medium in length with a matching fruit intensity of plum stone, red fruit preserve, lees and mineralchalky note. It is an interesting ringer to add to the Château Cambis’s two-pack to make it an interesting triangle taste-off: same vintage/different village; same village/different vintage. 2023-2026– IR
