A juicy wine brimming with red berries and dark fruits, it is intensely coloured and intense in flavour. Medium-bodied and supple with smooth, ripe tannins. A blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache, grapes were harvested at night and kept cool for four days on their skins. After fermentation, 15% of the wine was matured in oak adding depth rather than oaky character. A Coup de cœur, and not only for me: it was awarded a gold medal by French wine guide Gilbert & Gaillard.
