As glorious as Beaujolais, this wine is richly flavoured with blackberries, plums, liquorice, crushed strawberries, cranberries and cherries. The fruit is ripe rather than stewed and the wine is wonderfully distinctive. Crisp acidity balances the ripe red and black fruit, while supple tannins make this a very versatile wine.
