The wine shows a deep ruby, opaque robe and medium-plus intensity, lifted, floral nose featuring black plum cream-cheese tart, cedar, chocolate and a cassis reduction overtone. Dry, the palate is mid-framed – acidity, extract, fine-textured tannins and body – with lovely length and flavours of black plum cream-cheese tart, chocolate, cassis and roasted carrots before a medium-plus finish.
