Intense and concentrated, this is drinking really nicely. It has intense blackcurrants, cooked black fruits and vanilla aromas. Youthful, it has a mellow character and nice complexity. Soft and smooth on the palate, it is medium bodied with a richness to the fruit that is complemented by some grip on the finish. A small production – from a three-hectare plot – it is made up of 87% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot – and was matured for 20 months in oak.
