This is a concentrated structured wine which will benefit from some bottle age. Aromas are subdued with almond, vanilla yogurt, cola, red fruits and herbs. The palate is firm with sour fruits and tannin. The plots of Grenache and Carignan were planted in 1945, the Syrah in 1943; all are farmed organically. The vineyard is a single four-hectare slope at 280 metres with western exposure.
