An instant impression of spices, incense and strawberry leaf aromas lead to a supple palate and medium bodied wine. It has a fine silky texture with light tannins. Dark fruit flavours emerge in the mouth with a slight earthiness and a bitter chocolate finish. Produced from Cabernet Franc, grapes were grown on sandy terraces and calcareous soils. A small portion of the wine was matured in old barrels.
