A ripe, youthful red with fragrant floral and dark fruit aromas, overlaying notes of Provençal herbs, sweet tobacco, and spice. Equally fruit-driven on the palate with generous proportions and a smooth, glossy texture. Finishes dry, with polished tannins that are already remarkably approachable. The Sangiovese character is a little more discreet on this vintage, whereas the dark fruit of Cabernet Sauvignon and fleshy, rounded nature of Merlot shine through.
