There is a huge amount of black cherry and blackberry on the nose, against a backdrop of black pepper and floral notes. This sets the scene for an indulgent ride, and boy, does it deliver! Black cherry, black pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, damp earth, soy sauce and bacon fat harmonise with considerable swagger on the palate. This is plush, velvety, and deeply complex.
