Carmenère is winemaker Gonzalo‘s passion and Peumo is considered the best region to grow it. The valley generally doesn’t get any rain until late autumn, allowing the late ripening Carmenère grapes to reach full maturity without undue stress to the winemakers. The 2018 Reserve is deep in colour with dark smoky fruit aromas over a background of green leaves. It is medium bodied and supple with an herbal edge and a long finish.
