The 2020 Cornellana Volcano Sedimentario Carménère is an excellent example of this supple texture. Its concentrated red-fruit core is upheld by ripe well-integrated tannins. An intriguing nuance of minerality adds complexity to the plum and red fruit of the bouquet, while the palate displays a textbook balance of red berry fruit and herb. 2023-2026 – LW

Cornellana Volcano Sedimentario Cabernet Franc, Cachapoal Valley
A velvety wine with a bouquet of plum, cinnamon, clove and herb. Its body is framed by fine firm tannins and bright acidity. The palate opens with notes of plum, raspberry and cranberry, tapering off with a hint of herb and clove. Play off Cabernet Franc’s verdant twist by pairing with tarragon-crusted roast beef. 2023-2026 – LW
