The “Sabuci” 2022 is quite a firm, weighty style of Cerasuolo di Vittoria from the most historic Classico part of the appellation. Complex aromas and flavours of ripe, dark fruit mingle with hints of olive, exotic spice and layers of oak-derived toasted notes. Very youthful and fresh at present with bold, sinewy tannins. Great moderate-term ageing potential. Best with a few years’ additional cellaring. 2026-2035–JB
