Domaine A. Berthet-Rayne Vieilles Vignes AOP Cotes du Rhone Villages Cairanne
André Berthet-Rayne, his wife Marina and daughter Alexandra farm 30 hectares of organic vineyards in the Cru of Cairanne. The Vieilles Vignes are on average 60 years old producing low yields. Their 2019 has fruity aromas of red apples, raspberry jam and blackcurrant cordial countered with savoury herbal notes. It is soft and easy drinking with balsamic and cola flavours leading to a sour cherry finish.

Domaine des Romarins AOP Cotes du Rhône Villages Signargues
The Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues region is the most southerly of those villages entitled to append their name to Côtes du Rhône Villages Appellation. Quite a flat area, it is also the closest to the Mediterranean Sea – and is the hottest. Domaine des Romarins 2019 is a medium- to full-bodied wine with mineral notes of struck flint and smoke. It has a supple fruit mid palate with a firm finish and bitter berry finish.
