This Rioja grabbed our attention at the tasting, earning one of the four Coup de Coeur spots for the Cellar. This blend of 80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha and 5% Graciano was matured in French and American oak barrels for 18 months providing notes of baking spice and brown sugar underlying its red fruit core. Additional time in bottle has created resolved tannins and heightened complexity. 2023-2028–LW
