The wine has a medium deep ruby robe and medium intensity aromas of chicory root, marigold, chestnut, hay, red plum reduction and poached red pear. The palate is dry with a low but adequate acidity, a medium extract, light to medium fine soft-textured tannins and a medium body. The medium-plus length is matched by fruit with flavours of chicory root, red plum reduction, floral note, chestnut, hay and poached red pear and plum, closing with a creamy, medium-plus finish.
