The Dogliani DOCG, named after the little town of Dogliani, lies directly south of Barolo. The DOCG specializes in Dolcetto, and, in fact, only the Dolcetto grape is permitted to produce its wines. The 2018 from Clavesana has floral lavender aromas complemented by delicious buttery patisserie characters. More blueberry and blackcurrant flavours emerge on the palate. This is a structured wine with a long finish.
