The Belissand premier cru vineyard is located between the villages of Beaune and Pommard on a southeast-facing slope at 230 metres. Fermentation is natural with wild yeasts followed by 18 months in 20% new French oak. The result is masterful. Very pure and fragrant on the nose with enticing savoury spice developing on the palate. Full-bodied and fresh with a satiny texture tapering to fine-grained tannins on the long finish. 2025-2037–JB
