Continuing a trilogy of warm vintages, this shows ripe fruit on the nose - cooked blackberries, raspberries and plums. Its tannic palate, with a lick of liquorice, is both bold and developed. Curated from two, 50-year-old parcels of south-east exposure, it’s an affordable example of Ladoix, an AOP that rubs shoulders some much more famous names. 2024-2027 – MP
