Domaine de Bendel AOP Cotes de Provence, 2018

Domaine de Bendel 2018 is very pale pink in colour, as is the fashion in Provence these days – when a small amount is poured into the glass it looks more a white wine. On the nose, mellow sherbet fruits, honeysuckle and fennel notes emerge. It is dry and crisp and a perfect rosé for soaking up the summer sunshine. Domaine de Bendel lies in the heart of Provence at the foot of Mont Aurélien in the zone known as Sainte Victoire. A family domaine owned by Jean-Luc Jauffret, grapes were harvested at night, pressed and the clear juice fermented at very low temperature.
