Domaine des Remizieres AOP Saint Joseph, 2020

An oaky wine with vanilla and woody aromas dominating jammy fruits behind. It is supple with a smooth, round palate. Mellow oaky flavours are complemented by fresh cherry. Produced from grapes from vines with an average of 40 years, planted on granite slopes. Saint-Joseph is a relatively widespread Appellation in northern Rhône terms. On the right bank of the river, its best terroirs are closest to Hermitage. 2020 Domaine Des Remizières Saint-Joseph was matured in oak for 15 months with 30% new barrels and 70% one year old. It is a concentrated, polished wine with good acidity, depth, and lingering woody flavours.
