Translucent ruby in colour, Domaine Désertaux-Ferrand 2018 Bourgogne has aromas of blackcurrant, coffee and smoke. It is smooth with a fine silky texture and medium bodied with a ripe cherry finish. Vincent Désertaux makes his Bourgogne Pinot Noir from 2.32 hectares of 40-year-old vines with the aim to produce a wine ready for early drinking with no use of oak. The winery at Corgoloin is ideally situated at the juncture of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune.
