It is brimming with savoury earthy aromas with smoke, rolling tobacco and a touch of old leather. Similar flavours appear on the palate combining with dark spicy and bitter fruits. It has a silky-layered texture with quite a grippy finish creating an overall full-bodied Pinot Noir. Grapes underwent a cold maceration for 3-4 days before fermentation. It was part aged in French oak barrels from the renowned Ermitage cooperage using oak from Bertranges Forest.
