50-year-old vines. The wine shows a black, deep purple opaque color, and slightly shy aromas of dark fruit, chocolate and floral notes with pasty/lees/chives overtones. With a medium-minus acidity, the palate is dry and medium in size – extract, fine-textured tannins and body, with lovely length and fruit, if somewhat stacked right now – and black plum, chocolate, tar and cold coals.
