Cap Corse, in the far north of the island, protrudes into the Mediterranean Sea pointing directly north towards Italy's Ligurian coast. This is a beautiful sleepy corner of the island, once the heart of maritime trade here. Domaine Orenga de Gaffory Muscat du Cap Corse has floral aromas of rose petal and peaches. On the palate, it is sweet yet delicate with bitter orange and fresh vanilla pod. Muscat Petit Grains grapes were picked by hand and underwent 24-hour skin maceration. The addition of grape spirit arrested fermentation of the juice, achieving perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol and acidity.
