Deep ruby hue. Dark-fruited tones on the nose of black cherries, forest floor, black tea and bramble. The somewhat firm tannic structure adds depth to the palate, making for an excellent example of village level Beaujolais that will hold well for some years yet. 2026-2032–HM

DOMAINE SANCY, AOP CHÉNAS, 2025

Deep ruby hue. Plush, dark-fruited nose that is still quite youthful, aromas of wild thyme and garrigue adding layered intensity. The palate is alive with dark cherries and robust tannins, suggesting that a few years in bottle would not go amiss. Fatty foods would make an excellent pairing. 2026-2034–HM

Medium ruby hue. The nose is a bit timid, but this really opens up in the glass, revealing sapid red cherry and cranberry
accompanied by floral aromatics. The medium-bodied palate has well-judged tannins and a sleek feel that will only
improve as it sheds its puppy fat, revealing further fine fruit complexity. 2026-2032–HM
