Domaine Thevenot le Brun is a family estate in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits in Bourgogne. The estate is deeply linked to the history of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits region. Today the vineyard stretches over 30 hectares with 25 hectares in Hautes Côtes de Nuits and Hautes Côtes de Beaune. One remarkable terroir, le Clos du Vignon is a Monopoly. Five generations followed one another on the family estate. The activity was further developed by Maurice Thevenot and his wife Anne-Marie in the early sixties. Their sons Jean and Daniel took over and continued to upgrade the vineyard and to improve the techniques. Daniel’s son Nicolas came back to the estate in Burgundy in 2007 after several different experiences in hydrology, viticulture and oenology. Nowadays the estate has 6 employees and sells about 100,000 bottles each year in the appellations Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits and Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The certification for organic wines began with the 2021 vintage.
