The Febo cuvée is made up of 85% Merlot and 15% Syrah, sourced from the wide Toscana IGT area. The nose is perfumed with alluring notes of peony and violet, heightening the black and blue fruit aromas. The palate is quite a contrast, however: deep and brooding with bracing acidity, a pronounced tannic structure, and toasted oak nuances that define the finish. This is a very youthful wine that needs time to knit together and reveal the elegance promised by its pretty nose. 2025-2033 – JB
