A supple wine with a succulent mid-palate and appealing flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, vanilla and woody notes. Juicy fruits lead into a savoury finish. It was made from a parcel selection of Syrah in the villages of Alba-la-Romaine and Valvignères. After three weeks of fermentation and maceration on skins, the wine was matured for 12 months, half in barrel.
